Design & Styling of Skoda Yeti
The overall design of Skoda Yeti is confident and boxy, with a hint of large Panda 4x4 about its styling, it looks good. There's a utilitarian edge to its design, with huge space between the wheels and wheelarches suggesting plentiful axle articulation and serious off-road ability. The large grille at the front and massive foglamps give it a distinctive face, while its wide track gives the Yeti a tough stance that it lives up to off-road.
Skoda Yeti's Sturdy flanks and distinct wings give Yeti its robust and solid look on 17 inch wheels, without coming across as bulky and heavy. The Yeti is a clever response by Skoda Auto to the increasingly important ecological issues in the popular and growing SUV class. Skoda has met the demands for a cleanly styled body, a high seat position and versatile operating options with a design, which despite its robustness, exudes lightness rather than bulky shapes. Interiors of Skoda Yeti
Skoda has done a very neat job on the Skoda Yeti's interior. It exudes class, with a dashboard that would look at home in an Audi and classy instruments instead of green functional dials of old. SUV drivers love the high driving position in their cars, and the Skoda Yeti goes some way to replicate this. Space is also impressive, especially in the rear. The back seats slide to alter the balance between boot and passenger space, and the high seating position and deep footwell provide more room than you'd guess from the outside. Take out the middle seats of Skoda Yeti and you can slide the two outer seats inwards to provide an even great illusion of space.
The rear seats are an area where the Skoda Yeti scores over other compact SUVs and, arguably, helps justify the crossover tag. Clever design means that the rear seats can be folded and tilted right forward, and even removed to maximise cargo space. You can also recline the rear seats of Skoda Yeti. The optional panoramic sunroof is particularly impressive, opening up the whole of the roof of the Yeti to the sky. Less great are the very high sills on every door and the boot that impede access and reducing the luggage loading versatility in Skoda Yeti. Maximising boot space means doing without a spare wheel.
The Skoda Yeti is very well equipped for load lugging, too. The luggage compartment volume is highly flexible; up to 1,760 liters is available by removing the rear seats. A luggage cover and net as well as lashing rings are available to secure any load in Skoda Yeti.

Skoda India is going to launch the Yeti in diesel only, it is going to sport a 2.0 litre common rail diesel engine which generates maximum power of 140 bhp at 4200 rpm and 320 nm of maximum power at 1750 rpm. The engine will be mated to six speed manual transmission and will also features all wheel drive system which makes Yeti a serious off roader.

It is expected that Skoda Yeti will be launched in two variants: Ambiente and Elegance. The main difference between elegance and ambiente is that Elegance has 6 airbags in comparison to 2 in ambiente variant and it has 12 speakers with music system in comparison to 8 in ambiente variant.

The Skoda Yeti is a clever compact vehicle that is bound to create a stir. Excellent handling characteristics and high agility are features of all trims. Four-wheel-drive or front-wheel-drive, the Yeti handles much the same until the conditions get slippery. Most of the time Skoda Yeti relies upon front-wheel-drive, but on wet, icy or muddy surfaces the rear wheels are automatically engaged on four-wheel-drive models. As an off-roader this Yeti proves able, handling difficult terrain with ease. While the ground clearance and tyres make this more a vehicle for tackling snow and wet grass than pulling a horsebox, there is a nod to serious off-roading. Standard on top Elegance models, and optional on others, is an Off-Road button in Skoda Yeti.

The Škoda Yeti is powered by a 2.0 Litre TDI CR engine, which generates maximum power of 140 bhp at 4200 rpm.
