2011 Kawasaki Z1000SX photos and specifications revealed

Now this is more like it Kawasaki! The manufacturer has just given us the official photos and specs of its new Z1000SX. Based on the company’s existing Z1000 naked, the Z1000SX, looks like a more comfortable and sportier machine.

After going for the gold with its 2011 ZX10R superbike, Kawasaki is betting on this bike to be a winner too. And if looks are anything to go by, it sure seems like one.
The 2011 Z1000SX is basically a fully-faired version of the Z1000 naked bike. It has the same 128bhp, 1043cc inline four-cylinder powerplant as available in the Z1000. The twin exhaust and the shocks are identical too.

It features an adjustable windscreen for more comfort at high speeds, ABS comes as an add-on, and sportsbike styling coupled with what looks like mega comfort shold help the bike at the dealer’s.
Prices are not fixed yet but expect about 10,000 pounds. It goes on sale early next year in both Europe and US.
