Most of the changes seem to consist of visual differences from the 2009 model.  For example, you have a new fender, silencer, engine and radiator covers.  But, the most important visual difference when you look at the new 2010 Versys is the new headlight that may not be to everyone’s taste.  Some work has been done by Kawasaki on reducing the vibrations, but the engine is the same 649 cc unit as we had on the earlier Versys.
The dual purpose motorcycle also offers a few new colour options.

As normal after the launch of every new motorcycle, Kawasaki has sent out its normal PR spiel over these seemingly minor changes.  But one should not be too judgemental – why mess with a good package much, anyway? Kawasaki says that the 2010 Versys motorcycle builds on the strength of predecessor, with updated styling and the reasonably large number of upgrades, all of which together are a better than what they individually seem like.  The new windscreen on the 2010 Kawasaki Versys is adjustable, and changes to the suspension make the ride a lot better than what it was, according to the company.  The design of the rear view mirrors is different now, and there are a few new accessories such as heated grips and handguards for the Versys rider.  Overall, the motorcycle seems to be sleeker and slimmer.
